As a solo traveler, I loved the colonial charm and Chinese architectural details of this boutique hotel. the room had a beautifully designed Chinese-style four-poster bed and a range of toiletries. the flat-screen TV was a nice touch, and the room was furnished with great attention to detail. the location was perfect, being close to Bukit Bintang with its array of restaurants and shops. the hotel also had a Reggae bar, adding a unique and funky vibe to the public space.
Felt very well, no complaint.

Great rooms, good staff, the opposite of a bland business hotel!
Credit card machine did not work at the time of check out. They were willing to run with our international currency and get changed, instead, we just paid in international currency and that accepted that!

We were really impressed with this hotel - an absolute gem and superior to the the many affordable but impersonal mass-production hotels in KL. We would stay there again without question. Friendly staff (even at 4:00am), attractive design, well fitted.

We stayed at Anggun Boutique for our trip to KL. The hotel's location was perfect, just minutes away from Jalan Alor and China Town. Our room, though without an outside window, was comfortable and well-equipped. The staff were always polite and helpful. Breakfast on the balcony was delicious, with a great range of freshly cooked options. We loved the hotel's small and soulful atmosphere, a refreshing alternative to the high-rise options in the area. Highly recommended if you want an authentic stay.
Do recommend this hotel.

Excellent position and ambience. It's hard to find places like this. Great breakfast, though we did only try the Mayaysian and Indian versions. The fruit was unbeatable and extra coffee was no problem. Everything worked. No complaints at all.
Nothing re the hotel..A Small niggle wass that on arrival hotel could not find our booking although agernt had sent us confirmation. Despite this, hotel found a room for us despite heavy bookings. Obviously a slip- up somewhere. Luckily all turned out well.

It is a great location and we enjoyed the balcony.
Checked into the hotel at about 4pm but they did not have a room for us. They did not tell us this for about 10 minutes and then said they'd arranged another hotel for us. They escorted us to the alternate hotel via taxi but the hotel was far inferior and we would not have booked it on our own. We were picked up the next day at 12:30pm and taken back to the Anggun where we spent our 2nd and last night. As we had an early check out we were told that they would have some breakfast ready for us early but did not follow through. Great hotel but they wasted about 3 or 4 hours of our valuable time and stressed us out as well. They should have reduced the rate we paid or made it up to us in some other way but did not.

We had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. The location is perfect, situated in a vibrant street with plenty of restaurants and bars. It was a great starting point for exploring the area. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff to assist us during our stay. The room was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed the convenience of having ironing facilities, air conditioning, and a mini-bar in the room. The sitting area and in-room safe were a nice touch as well. The patio provided a lovely space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The free toiletries, electric kettle, and television added to the overall comfort and convenience of our stay.
Although there were minor inconveniences, we would still highly recommend this hotel to others.

Anggun staff are really great. Nothing was too much trouble and every request was attended to promptly. The location was fantastic.Close walking distance to China town (really enjoyed there)shopping malls and department stores. In the same road don't miss the Sao Nam Vietnamese restaurant,(best Vietnamese food I ever ate)and many foot reflexology and massage places (so good and so cheap) Planning to return next July and will definitely stay there again.

Very intimate hotel with only 18 rooms. Attentive staff and convenient rooftop restaturant providing breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms have every amenity one would want (unless you must have a minibar). The air conditioner worked great which was very welcome in the hot climate of Kuala Lumpur. The location cannot be beat, within walking distance of great shopping malls land 25 minutes from the city center.

At first impressions were not good, rather tatty street and surrounds but on further inspection an interesting hotel with some unusaul features, newly refurbished or even newly built, clean and friendly. The area turned our to be very convenient for everything especially the Hop On Hop Off bus. Breakfast was good Was able to check in even though we arrived at 9.30am
Had an evening meal on the first night which was a bit sparse.
